2 1/2 teaspoons (7 grams) powdered gelatin, or gelatine sheet
2 tablespoons cold water
For the Strawberry Jelly:
1 package strawberry-flavored jelly
Fresh strawberries for garnish
Method
In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over 2 tablespoons of cold water and let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar and vanilla paste.
Heat the mixture over medium heat until it just starts to simmer, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar. Do not let it boil.
Remove from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
Pour the mixture into 4 glasses or ramekins. Let them cool to room temperature,
then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
To make the jello, follow the package instructions. Allow it to cool to room temperature
Once the panna cotta has set, arrange thin slices of fresh strawberries on top of each panna cotta.
Gently pour the cooled strawberry jelly over the strawberry slices, filling each glass or ramekin to the top.
Cover and refrigerate for another 2 hours, or until the jelly is fully set. Enjoy!
